Social events for accompanying partners

Please note reservations for these social activities should be made by e-mailing directly to Estrel – Interklassik, SETAC Europe is not responsible for the organsation of these tours. The social programme for accompanying partners has to be paid directly to Interklassik.

All tours will be offered with at least 10 participants. Fees have to paid in advance, in case of cancellation there is no refund, unless the tour has to be cancelled by the organiser. All registered tours will be confirmed in writing.

Short Berlin Tour with currywurst snack

Berlin is the town of the contrasts. Old and new, comfortable and urban, produced and prestigiously lie side by side here close. On our bustour we get to know all these facets and experience Berlin as a worth living and charming city. With a stop you can try the real Berlin Currywurst.


Boat cruise of the River Spree with coffee time on board

This route leads you across the river Landwehrkanal and river Spree approximately around the city centre and in such a way you will make the experience that Berlin possess more bridges than Venice. Past the House of Cultures of the World, the Berlin Cathedral, Pergamonmuseum, Nicolai Quarter, Reichstag with the new glass Dom, for example. Observe once life in the fascinating metropolis Berlin from another perspective.


Potsdam Tour

Experience Prussian history outside of the town Berlin. The upgrading of Potsdam to the second residence of Prussian kings commenced by Friedrich Wilhelm in the 17th century. During the 18th century many great castles and parks were built for kings and princes. While joining the tour you are able to see the historic section of town with Nikolai Church of Schinkel, Fortunaportal, Nauener Gate and the Dutch Quarter, of course. The tour guides you to the Cecilienhof Palace and includes an attendance trough the Sanssouci gardens as well (no castle visit).


History of Berlin Wall

On this tour you will learn about the historical background of the construction of the Berlin Wall and the initial years of a divided city, as well as the train of events leading to the downfall of the Wall. You visit the famous Checkpoint Charlie and the Peter Fechter Memorial, as well as the Berlin Wall Memorial on Bernauer Straße with a preserved section of the border installations and the recently built Chapel of Reconciliation.


Museum Island with visit of the Pergamonmuseum

Between 1830 and 1930, five impressive museums were built on the northern part of the Spreeinsel (Spree Island) in Berlin-Mitte. The Museum Island has been included in UNESCO s list of World Cultural Heritage. You will experience the Prussian classicist architecture of the museums and be given an introduction to the collections history. The highlight of the tour is a one-hour visit of Pergamon Museum with its displays of partial reconstructions of ancient architecture and original artefacts. You will see the Pergamon Altar, the Babylonian processional way and the market gate of Miletus.
